Terms

Terms of use

Effective date: 21 July 2026. These terms govern use of roastpoint.pro and general conditions for goods and services supplied by RoastPoint Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202519847C).

1. Agreement

By accessing roastpoint.pro or using our café, catering, workshop, or retail services, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services. Separate written agreements may apply to wholesale or catering contracts; where they conflict with these terms, the written agreement prevails.

2. About us

RoastPoint Pte. Ltd. operates a specialty coffeehouse and roast lab at 28 Stanley Street, #01-03, Singapore 068737. Contact: [email protected], +65 6248 3917. Hours: Tue–Sun 08:00–18:00 SGT, Mon closed.

3. Website use

You may browse our website for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You must not attempt unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malware, scrape content in a manner that impairs site performance, misrepresent your affiliation with RoastPoint, or use the site for unlawful purposes. Content on the site — text, images, logos, roast profiles, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to RoastPoint and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without prior written permission except for incidental viewing or sharing links to our pages.

4. Information on the site

Roast board listings, menu descriptions, rest-day guidance, and workshop schedules are provided in good faith and may change without notice as we cup and rotate coffees. We do not warrant that website content is complete, current, or error-free. Product availability in the café may differ from online descriptions when a lot sells through earlier than expected.

5. Orders and payments

In-café purchases are payable at the point of sale. Retail subscriptions, workshop bookings, and catering require confirmation by RoastPoint staff; a quotation or invoice constitutes an offer you accept by payment or written confirmation. Prices include GST where applicable unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability — we will refund any payment taken in such cases.

6. Workshops and catering

Workshop seats are limited. Cancellations made at least five working days before the session may receive credit toward a future booking; later cancellations may forfeit fees. Catering scope is specialty coffee service only — espresso, filter, and optional cupping segments as quoted. We do not provide BBQ, live fire cooking, or unrelated event services. Client venues must supply adequate power and water access as confirmed during site assessment. RoastPoint staff follow standard food-handling practices; clients remain responsible for overall event licensing where required by law.

7. Food, beverages, and allergens

Coffee and food are prepared for general consumption as described on our menu boards. Taste perception varies; we describe flavour in good faith based on cupping but do not guarantee identical experience for every guest. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, soy, and sesame. Items may contain traces of allergens not listed on the board due to shared equipment. Inform our bar team of dietary requirements before ordering. We cannot warrant a fully allergen-free environment. Nothing on our menu or website constitutes medical or nutritional advice, and we make no health-outcome guarantees.

Food and allergen advisory: Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, soy, and sesame. Menu items may contain traces of allergens not declared on the board. Please tell our bar team about dietary needs before ordering; we cannot promise a fully allergen-free preparation space.

8. Retail coffee and rest guidance

Roasted coffee is a fresh agricultural product. Rest windows on bags are guidance based on our cupping, not guarantees of peak flavour in every home setup. Storage conditions, water quality, and grind equipment affect results. We are not liable for dissatisfaction arising solely from home brewing variables outside our control once product leaves the café in good condition.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, RoastPoint is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website use or café services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a specific transaction is limited to the amount you paid for that transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or for fraud.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RoastPoint against claims arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these terms, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

11. Third-party services

Payment terminals, couriers, and hosting providers operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.

12. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Contact form submissions require PDPA consent via an unchecked box at submission.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be contracted out.

14. Changes

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted.

15. Website availability

We aim to keep roastpoint.pro available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting outages, or force majeure events may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from inability to access the website during such periods. The roast board published online is indicative; the in-café chalk board is authoritative if they differ on a given day.

16. User submissions

If you submit feedback, testimonials, or photographs to us with permission to publish, you grant RoastPoint a non-exclusive licence to use that material on our website or social channels with attribution where appropriate. You warrant that you own or control the rights to any content you provide and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that closest reflects the original intent permitted by law.

18. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding website use unless superseded by a signed contract for catering, wholesale, or other commercial services.
